Ive always had my doubts about the vaccuum robots. But i have 3 inside dogs so they shed alot. This robot has been a huge help in keeping the dog hair down in the house. I highly recommend this product. The picture above is what it looks like each day after it cleans for at least an hour.
This vacuum is exactly what I needed. I have two cats and hair that is two feet long. I wanted something that would help cut down on the amount of time I spend vacuuming my house exclusively due to hair. This is the perfect solution.I have some previous experience with robot vacuums but this one is such a step up from my previous one. My older robot vacuum was heavy, the battery life was awful, and it was constantly getting hung up on the smallest of level changes. This vacuum is lightweight, the battery life is amazing, and it easily transitions from hardwood to carpet without slowing down. I have a very large main floor that has hardwood, carpet, and tile in various rooms. The first time I started this vacuum and let it go, it went all around the house with no issue. I initially had concerns that it would get stuck on the transition strip between the hardwood and carpet, but it took it like a champ and kept going, doing every room of the house without needing to recharge. It states that the battery life is around 2 hours, but after an hour, it had only used around a 1/3 of the battery according to the indicator. The suction is quite good for standard needs, it easily picked up hair, kitty litter, and crumbs without issue. The only things that it didn’t pick up were a couple pieces of cat food that were too large. I didn’t need to empty it until after two full cleanings of the main floor of my house which impressed me as that’s typically how often I have to dump my stick vacuum as well. Dumping the vacuum is easy enough to do and while it’s not totally mess-free, it’s not as bad as a canister style vacuum because it’s not as large and hard to maneuver. The only issue I had, which is an issue I have with almost every vacuum, was hair wrapping around the main roller. This is unavoidable with the length of my hair, but I didn’t find it difficult to cut the hair off the rollers and clean them. The side brushes do a great job of getting into corners which was something I wasn’t sure it would be able to do. The “bump” feature that it uses to know when to turn is very gentle. My previous robot vacuum would slam into furniture at top speed and caused more than a few dings, but this one doesn’t have that issue at all. It taps furniture and walls gently and turns away, I have zero concerns about damage. My favorite feature of this vacuum has to be how quiet it is. When running it is approximately as loud as a box fan at top speed. It isn’t totally silent, but compared to a regular vacuum it’s hardly noticeable. I was able to watch TV while it was running on the other side of the same room without issue.Overall, I cannot recommend this vacuum enough. The price is very reasonable compared to other vacuums on the market right now. It’s an amazing vacuum that’s quiet, easy to operate, and can do your whole house on a single charge.
I am amazed at how much it picks up. Dust bunnies, the things the broom leaves behind. Archie, (You have an option to name it), gets lost or stuck sometimes, but it really isn't his fault. He is a climber and will sometime get stuck on a throw rug, stuck under the cabinets, sometimes he will shut the door and get stuck in a room, but really is my fault. My home is 3,200 sq ft, two rooms with carpet, the rest tile and one large rug. He keeps them clean. He got stuck and i couldn't find him for three days and I could sure tell. He starts cleaning every day at 10 am. He saves me a ton of work. I mopped today and did not have two sweep or vacuum first. I wish I had done it years ago.
LOVE IT!!!! This is my second Shark vacuum for the other side of the house. The one thing I learned from the first one is that you leave it alone and let it work. It will cover all the areas it finds on its own. Great when you set it up on a schedule and just let it go.
I absolutely love my vacuum but I didn't get any stop strips to lay down for dangerous or unwanted areas.
